Get Something Started Somewhere over this horizon There’s an answer for my head And all those things that make you helpless We’ll give away instead And all those things that make you happy Are coming true just like I said. And we get something started here Get something started here But we just can’t stop with something else Somewhere over this horizon There’s an answer for my heart Cause all those things that bring you closer Tear you all apart Get something started here Get something started here But we just can’t stop with something else. Get something started here Get something started here But we just can’t stop with something else. Bridge Get something started here Get something started here But we just can’t stop with something else. Get something started here Get something started here But we just can’t stop with something else. Outro

Bitter 03:25
Bitter Bitter kind of love Bitter thinking of you Bitter sweet kind of love Bitter in the morning Watching the passing cars Takes all day sometimes Just to make a start Tell me if it takes too long If the roads been wrong, far away I know bout the burn and shine With the hope inside Bitter sweet love Crown and anchor me Cause I don’t know where my baby is But this love won’t let me be Break Bitter sweet love Crown and anchor me Cause I don’t know where my baby is But this love won’t let me be

Another Love Story (free) 03:35
Another Love Story Take me back to never Back when our love could hold it together Honey I know what it’s like to conceive love But never let myself believe love In another love story Where the heartbreak goes on And you want to believe in something And you stay out all night long Wrapped up inside the future Are a thousand new lovers who might suit you Honey I know what’s it’s like to be beside love And I wonder what it takes revive love In another love story Where the heartbreak goes on And you want to believe in something Something real and something strong Like how it feels to love somebody And stay out all night long Stay out all night long Stay out all night Cause it’s another love story Where the heartbreak goes on And you want to believe in something Maybe a world where no one knows How it feels to love nobody And stay out all night long

Any Kind of Love Any kind of love you want You can take it if the moment is right Don’t forget about the loves you got You might need them if you want to survive Cause outside It may be raining And cold for this life And I’ve been so lonely That the tears fall from my eyes I’ve been so lonely That the tears fall from my eyes So tell me bout the good love baby Any kind of hope you want Well you can buy it from a lonesome subscriber But don’t forget about the hope you got You’re gonna need them if you want to survive And outside Everything I hold onto Is hoping you come alive Cause I’ve been so lonely That the tears fall from my eyes I’ve been so lonely That the tears fall from my eyes I’ve been so lonely That the tears fall from my eyes So tell me bout the good love baby Tell me bout the good love baby Tell me bout the good love baby When it arrives

Can't Stop 03:51
Can’t Stop I’m inside of something That I can never tell It’s like a ball of cheap love baby The kind they try to sell you It’s hard to know if I am falling As high as I can be I want to give up your love baby And what it does to me But I can’t stop Thinking about you baby And I can’t stop Thinking about a love that never ends I heard it all around me Like when you kiss and tell If you would go as deep as I do The more they try to tell you Stay away from Harlem baby You don’t want to see the sight I never knew if I could leave If I could say goodbye But I can’t stop Thinking about you baby And I can’t stop Thinking about that day And I can’t stop Thinking about you baby And I can’t stop Thinking bout our love Breakdown And I can’t stop Thinking about you baby And I can’t stop Thinking about you baby And I can’t stop … And I can’t stop Thinking about you baby And I can’t stop

Glisten 03:40
Glisten Someone stop me from staring at the door Like a mystic cathedral or a paragon of war So much can open and let the light in But this waiting seems easy and who needs to win So I call you my sweet love and hang it on the wall So much can happen like anything at all Cause the future it glistens Like an unfamiliar day Like a love when it’s over One that never goes away Maybe tomorrow we can drive out in the car We can sit and watch the TV; We can sit and watch the war Cause the future it glistens Like the world on a string When they tell you you’re alright But you can’t feel anything And the future it glistens Like a lover’s holiday Where maybe we’ll get married Or just stay fucked up all day And the future it glistens Like an unfamiliar day Like a love when it’s over One that never goes away

Love Me One Time (free) 03:53
Love Me One Time I’m walking out on the street again lover Thinking bout your pretty lies And the first thing you learn about love Is that it hurt you all the time I want to know how the story ends Will you end up getting caught? Cause the second thing you learn about love Is there’s just never enough So love me one time baby Yes I’m sure that’s not enough Tell me twice that you’re never gonna leave Cause baby it hurts to be in love Love me one time baby Yes I’m sure that’s not enough Tell me twice that you’re never gonna leave Cause baby once is not enough I’m walking out on the street again lover Trying to find a better life Underneath the stars of a world That’s hoping for love to arrive But I want to know where the story ends Will I end up getting caught? Cause the second thing you learn about love Is there’s just never enough So love me one time baby Yes I’m sure that’s not enough Tell me twice that you’re never gonna leave Cause baby it hurts to be in love Love me one time baby Yes I’m sure that’s not enough Tell me twice that you’re never gonna leave Cause baby once is not enough Bridge So love me one time baby Yes I’m sure that’s not enough Tell me twice that you’re never gonna leave Cause baby it hurts to be in love Love me one time baby Yes I’m sure that’s not enough Tell me twice that you’re never gonna leave Cause baby once is not enough

WHERE ARE WE GOING Day in, day out Sidewalk sleepers turn about Day by day, the work gets done Day by day, another war goes on (Chorus) Tell me, where are we going? What''s the future showing? Where are we headed? With all that''s going on where are we getting? Day in, day out A little boy and girl are going out Day by day, baby''s babies are born Day by day, people say, "Right on." (Chorus) All we need (repeated several times) Day in, day out It gets better and people shout Day by day, flames get higher Lives and pains fuel the fire (Chorus) (to fade)

about

“…a lush impatience with anything pat.”
—James Hunter (writer/reviewer for Rolling Stone, Musician, Spin, many others)

“ pure,open-hearted melodicism….”
-- Colin Helms (CMJ)

“..an intensely soulful vocalist … ”
-- Billboard

“roof-raising strength and… tender delicacy… ”
-- Nashville Scene

“…Beautiful songs. Beautiful singing. A little cold steel string finger picking, some warm Sunday Hammond organ mixed in with a dollop of gooey electric piano. Hang in for the ending, there's a MarvinGaye cover coming down like Sunday Morning. Damn, I can't get enough of this shit!…” – Chuck Prophet

"A nice "summer soul" feel. He... know(s) how to make an ass wiggle. jazzanova keyboards... really interesting song structures. I hate referencing but we all do it...so if you like Mark Hollis, Marvin Gaye (there's a nice cover here of "Where Are We Going"), and more recent influences such as D'Angelo, Alicia Keys (vocal stacking), you'll love this disc." --Josh Rouse
